Over 75 medical providers, nurses, FEMM teachers and clinic managers gathered in Columbus OH for our FEMM medical training the first weekend of July. Many medical providers thought it was the best medical training yet, but the excitement to be back together in person was undeniable. Thanks to your support, medical students and doctors from Tanzania were able to join us for this important medical training and collaboration.
FEMM’s Medical Management offers a full review of the physiology and pathophysiology central to understanding – and arriving at accurate diagnoses – for women’s health. The three day conference also provided multiple opportunities for case discussions, debate and conversation, and updates on the latest foundational and clinical studies. FEMM’s commitment to advancing evidence-based approaches to improve care and health outputs for women is captured in the work that goes into preparing and updating our medical courses each year.
While the Masterclass is notable for the combination of returning providers and new participants, FEMM was happy to announce that our advanced course for 2023 will be on pregnancy and infertility, and will be hosted online October 20-21 2023.
Case study discussions have begun, and most of our new participants have already participated in our initial case series discussion. The additional weekly case studies we host in June are fully subscribed, and we look forward to ongoing collaboration and support with the monthly case studies as we move forward.
If you missed this Medical Management course, don’t worry. FEMM offers a pre-recorded, on-demand masterclass! Take a look at the course details here.
