Joy spent 7 years working with a Dietician in a hospital setting. While working there, she had her first baby, 5 weeks premature. Those experiences prompted her to pursue research into nutrition and fertility awareness, as well as using essential oils as integrative natural healthcare. Joy also holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Connecticut. She lives in Alabama with her husband of 15 years, 5 children, and new puppy.
